CLIFF CURTIS BODY OF PROOF

Cliff Curtis was born in Rotorua, Aotearoa, New Zealand, on July 27, 1968.

Of New Zealand Maori descent (Ngati Hauiti, Te Arawa) he spent time when young learning the traditional Maori fighting styles of mau rakau. He enrolled at the New Zealand Drama School, and then the Teatro Dmitri Scoula in Switzerland.

When 17-year-old overachiever Trent Brady is found dead after calling 911 outside of a rave, Megan and her team are called in to investigate. The teenager’s seem to be in denial about their son’s access to drugs, but Megan will need help in determining the drugs found on the teen’s body, and turns to her new friend, Special Agent Ames (Cliff Curtis)for help. Peter stumbles upon a house fire in progress before the fire department arrives and is able to rescue a young woman. The woman, now in critical condition was recently trying to reunite with her biological father who had cruelly rebuffed her. When Megan goes to the scene of the fire she discovers that there is another victim who perished in the fire. This dismays Peter who didn't know there was someone else in the house and now has a personal attachment to this case. As Megan begins her investigation, she is usurped by veteran arson investigator Ray Easton (Terry Serpico, “Army Wives”) and his young colleague Skip who challenge her at every step. When Megan complains to her boss, Kate wryly tells her that usually people find Megan impossible to work with, and the tension between the two women only heats up more.
