Crystal Bowersox (“American Idol”) guest stars in her first acting role as Zoe Brant, an imprisoned felon and former drug user who is a lead suspect in the of killing Bryn Walker, an expert equestrienne who ran a vocational program for inmates. When Megan takes Lacey to the crime scene, her ex-husband Todd (Jeffrey Nordling) is outraged. Megan is outraged herself when Lacey reveals that her dad is forcing her to tag along on a vacation getaway with his new girlfriend.
